With Lil Skies and OT Genasis opening.
Summer is finally almost upon us, and the nicer weather doesn’t only encourage girls to shed their winter-wear, it’s also a fertile breeding ground for concerts and festivals. From staple productions, like Made in America and Gov Ball, to the recently-announced Drake and Migos tour, summertime is the most conducive season to good vibes, relaxation, and amazing music. Joining this influx of tour annoucements, Wiz Khalifa and Rae Sremmurd just announced a joint tour (no pun intended) for the Dazed and Blazed tour.
Starting in Detroit on July 21st, the 27-city tour will also feature openers Lil Skies and OT Genasis, effectively applying unique musical brush strokes to Dazed and Blazed’s aesthetic while still orbiting its hip-hop core. Despite the incredible setlist, this tour is particularly exciting given the releases surrounding the headlining artists: Rae Sremmurd just dropped off their triple disc offering, and Wiz’s highly-awaited Rolling Papers 2 is scheduled to drop right before the tour’s start on July 13th.
It’s a wonderful time to be a hip-hop head, that’s for sure.
