Another week, another day for Wiz releases. It looks like last week’s onslaught of new Wiz Khalifa is continuing, as the prolific rapper has dropped off another two freestyles today: “Don’t Stop” and “No Change.”
Consistent with the previous loosies, “Don’t Stop” channels a laid back, melodic vibe from Wiz — territory he’s more than familiar with. Throughout the song, he stays comfortably in his pocket, effortlessly gliding over a sample from Nelly’s “Luven Me” to offer a chill ambiance. On “No Change,” Wiz flips the script sonically be employing an EDM-type instrumental, demonstrating his wide-ranging artistic command.
Given that we now need two hands to count the amount of Wiz releases over this recent stretch, one can only, hopefully, imagine that a project is on the way.
