When it rains, it pours.
It’s been one hell of a week for Wiz Khalifa. Each day this week, the Pittsburgh rep has delivered a new freestyle over an array of production and samples. Going over such tracks as “I’ll Be Good” by Rene and Angela to Tyga’s “Taste,” Wiz has demonstrated an encompassing range. Today, he’s back at it with “So Gangster.”
Over a classic-sounding ‘90s-type beat, Wiz flows so effortlessly over the head-bumping sonics, almost melting into the buttery production. On his lyrical tip, he spits on a variety of topics that fluidly lead into each other.
Whether or not an official project is on the way is still to be determined, but one thing is for certain: Wiz is murdering the game right now.
