It’s hard to believe that he’s only 15-years-old.

It’s been a transformative year for Bronx’s Smooky Margielaa. The 15-year-old diverse talent started turning heads when his name appeared throughout the A$AP Mob’s Cozy Tapes Vol. 2, specifically on the track “Black Card” alongside Mob leader, A$AP Rocky. Fast-forward several months, and Smooky continues bolstering his rise by interviewing with respected outlets, like Mass Appeal, and releasing a steady stream of solid music. Most recently, he dropped off “The Judge”.

Part of Smooky’s allure, aside from his surprising age, is his ability to bend his voice to adhere to today’s shifting, more musical hip-hop landscape, and how he pairs that sound with head-bumping production. On “The Judge”, Margielaa is in classic form, impressively harmonizing his voice and offering a melodic sonic aesthetic.

Smooky has a few projects on the horizon, as well. Expect to see MMM (Margielaa Mad Man) and A Tribe Called Grape arriving soon.
