An eerie video for an eerie song.

After a three-year wait, ScHoolboy Q triumphantly returned with his fifth studio album, CrasH Talk, released in late April. Home to cuts like the Travis Scott-assisted “CHopstix” and the quasi eponymous “Crash,” CrasH Talk is a musically-emboldened journey replete with dynamic productions and vocal patterns.

One of the more interesting collaborations — both in terms of innate style and final product — is “Dangerous” featuring the one-and-only, Kid Cudi. Eerie instrumentals provide a sour soundscape for Cudi’s iconic sweet moans, making for a dualistic record with an overarching ominous theme. Today, the two linked for the track’s official music video.

Directed by Alexander Moor, the “Dangerous” video adequately captures the dark tones purveyed on the record. Chronicling unrepentant gang activity, the video acts as a cautionary tale — well, more like a desperate plea — to cease senseless violence; the point is even more explicitly conveyed by interspersing the famous Gandhi quote, “An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind.”

“Dangerous” joins “CHopstix” and “Floating” as the exclusive CrasH Talk music videos.
