88Rising’s Rich Brian (FKA Rich Chigga) has gone from viral star to formidable artist. After taking the internet by storm with his unassuming “Dat $tick” single, and the ensuing Ghostface Killah- and Pouya-assisted remix, the American transplant has asserted himself as a pensive artist who’s more than just a deep voice and an endearing personality. While he’s been quiet for most of 2021, Rich Brian has changed the record, as he’s recently delivered his reflective new single, “Sydney.”
