Discussed during his The Cruz Show interview on LA’s Power 106.

Kanye can’t seem to keep his name out of the news. Whether he’s coming under fire for incoherent support of the 45th American President, or donning a Snoop Dogg shirt in response to his “Drake gave your girl d*ck” statement, Ye is as much of a pop-culture fixture as ever. And while most of the news surrounding his name is defamatory or slanderous, he still manages to seep into the headlines for the very reason that we even know his name: his music.

Despite an album delay for his forthcoming YANDHI, now expected to drop on Black Friday, encouraging storylines are forming to frame a positive narrative for this release. Mainly, that there could quite possibly be a Migos feature on the project.

In promotion of his debut solo project, QUAVO HUNCHO, Quavo stopped by Power 106’s The Cruz Show to speak on this release, as well as all news surrounding the Migos. While the trio is on their last leg of the Aubrey and the Three Migos tour, that doesn’t mean that the highly influential group plans to retard their music release strategy–not in the slightest.

In addition to announcing that Culture III will be dropping at the top of 2019, and that Takeoff and Offset will too be releasing their inaugural solo projects leading-up to the group’s drop, Quavo also informed The Cruz Show that the trio recorded a feature for YANDHI.

About 14-minutes into the interview, Quavo stated, “I did a record for [Kanye], we did a record for Yandhi. He called us.” Although this feature isn’t confirmed by any sources, the sheer knowledge of this potential is exciting and supplements the well-known fact that Kanye is one of the most progressive, open-minded musicians of our generation.

On Black Friday, we’ll, hopefully, find out if the Migos addition made the final cut.
