Producer To Watch: Cxdy

Cxdy can’t miss: it feels like every song he works on becomes a hit. Not only does he have an immense amount of talent, but he also has the firepower of the whole Internet Money team behind him. Being a part of Internet Money, however, doesn’t guarantee success on its own; actually, Cxdy has become one of the go-to producers in rap because of his own hard work. And if you don’t already know him, it’s time you get acquainted with one of the hottest producers out right now.

At the beginning of April, Internet Money put an all-star team together on the hit release, “Whipski.” Produced by Cxdy, Nick Mira, and Taz Taylor, the track sees $NOT and Lil Skies exchange verses over smooth production. What is special about Cxdy is that he always seems to bring the best out of the artists that he works with; beyond “Whipski,” you’ll be able to see this in his work with artists like iann dior and The Kid Laroi. As he describes to his YouTube viewers, he prefers to leave his beats open to allow artists to experiment and fill out the track.
