Nominated for seven categories, including Favorite Album – Rap/Hip-Hop.

Celebrating its 47th edition of crowning the best in music, the American Music Awards aired last night (November 24th) live from L.A.’s Microsoft Theater. Hosted by Ciara, the awards show saw performances from the likes of Lizzo and Post Malone; it included Tyler, The Creator and Megan Thee Stallion as award-presenters.

Leading the way, Taylor Swift took home six awards — including edging-out Drake for Artist of the Year; Post Malone came in at number-one for total nominations with seven, representing the most for hip-hop.

In the hip-hop categories, Cardi B claimed the hardware for Favorite Artist; Lil Nas X won for Favorite Song – Rap/Hip-Hop with, unsurprisingly, “Old Town Road” featuring Billy Ray Cyrus; Post Malone was crowned for coming through with the Favorite Album – Rap/Hip-Hop with Hollywood’s Bleeding.
