Rest easy, Von. Gone too soon, but still delivering gems.
The tragic passing of King Von left a suffocating void in the hearts of his loved ones and fans. Such a promising talent with a preternatural storytelling gift, Von had so much left to accomplish — and already had delivered a prized musical collection.
Despite this unconscionable death, King Von’s discography isn’t a static entity — it’s a fluid one that is being updated somewhat regularly. A collection of posthumous offerings have trickled out since his passing, including the “Wayne’s Story” and “Armed & Dangerous” videos. Recently, the Chicago talent added another to the collection in the PnB Rock-helmed single, “Rose Gold.”
The exciting collaboration leverages the respective party’s talents to deliver a textured record: PnB soars with his staple melodic approach; Von handles the heavy lyrical lifting.
