New York’s hip-hop resurgence can largely be attributed to the Brooklyn Drill movement, pioneered by the late Pop Smoke. But despite Pop’s undeniable influence, the musical waters running through the Big Apple’s pipes began bubbling before “The Woo” rapper’s ascendance thanks to artists like A$AP Rocky, Joey Bada$$, Phresher, and more. Today, Phresher has tapped one of the Brooklyn Drill disciples, Fivio Foreign, and Stunna 4 Vegas on “All the Smoke.”
