New Music: Cormega – “Honorable” feat. Raekwon

The classic Disney character gets the trap treatment.

CeeLo Green is an OG to this rap ish. Many might not be familiar with CeeLo's work outside of, I don't know, judging television shows and being the guy who sang "Crazy" by Gnarls Barkley. But when he's not busy with the aforementioned, CeeLo is a member of legendary Atlanta rap group Goodie Mob. (If you're new, you should check out Soul Food, the group's excellent debut album from 1995.) But CeeLo is looking to recharge his solo battery with "Sign of the Times," a socially-conscious track that reminds us of those good ol' Goodie days. Method Man should be dropping his new project The Meth Lab shortly (August 21st to be exact) but in order to hold fans over he's sharing "The Purple Tape," featuring legendary Wu-Tang Clan members Raekwon and Inspectah Deck. By now everyone should be familiar with those three words: The Purple Tape. If you're not, it's quite simple: It refers to Only Built 4 Cuban Linx... and its unique purple plastic packaging. So it's only convenient that Rae is present on the track, too. Listen to Meth's "The Purple Tape" for those monster Wu verses you've been thirsting for after the jump!

Ghostface Killah and Adrian Younge are set to drop their followup to the first Twelve Reasons to Die on July 10th and today marks a big day for the album as the duo share a massive track in "Resurreciton Morning." As if the song title wasn't enough, Ghostface recruits fellow Wu-Tang Clan member Raekwon and R&B master Bilal for the track as well. The track is spooky and is catapulted forward by Younge's eerie piano-driven production. Oh, you weren't expecting some new Kendrick Lamar so fast? Yeah, yeah, we all love To Pimp a Butterfly -- but let's be real here, we can definitely use some more Kendrick for the summer. Here he teams up with Bilal (who is a super underrated R&B singer/songwriter and was featured on To Pimp a Butterfly) for "Money Over Love." The track, which is Bilal's, is set to appear on his forthcoming album Another Life, produced in its entirety by Adrian Younge. Check out "Money Over Love" after the jump.
