2018 has seen its fair share of star-studded soundtracks, including the hit factory that is the Kendrick Lamar-curated Black Panther: The Album project. And while Kendrick might have married his artistry and A&Ring abilities for the number-one Black Panther album, he’ll be partaking in yet another soundtrack–but this time he’ll be deferring his A&R cap to Ear Drummer’s captain, Mike Will Made-It for the Creed II soundtrack.
Yes, Kendrick Lamar will be featured on the forthcoming soundtrack for the Michael B. Jordan-starring Creed sequel, but he’s far from the lone A-list star on the Mike Will brainchild.
Unveiled today, the Creed II tracklist boats an incredibly decorated grouping of artists that is poised to heed Black Panther: The Album’s direction towards Billboard number-one status. Joining Kendrick Lamar will be Vince Staples, A$AP Rocky, Nas, Rick Ross, Rae Sremmurd, Lil Wayne, J. Cole, among many others.
