Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill was sentenced to prison in July for a probation violation and since his imprisonment there was much speculation when he would be getting out. Back in September Meek’s MMG bossman Rick Ross posted a few photos of the rapper posted up in jail and reports stated that Meek would be locked up until at least October. There has been a lot of confusion and rumors regarding his release but nothing set in stone. But now Christmas came early as Meek Mill has officially been released from prison.
This afternoon Rick Ross took to his Twitter to write “Meek home” followed by fellow MMG rapper Stalley writing “Welcome home my dawg @MeekMill #MeekMillBack.” Shortly thereafter Meek Mill took to his Instagram, posting a video of a riot, writing “My hood right nowwwww!” It was his first Instagram post since July 11th.
Meek Mill’s new album, the highly-anticipated followup to his 2012 album Dreams and Nightmares, Dreams Worth More Than Money is said to be on its way. Hopefully sooner than later.
