RIP to an icon.In tragic news, beloved multi-talented artist Mac Miller has passed away today from an overdose in California. He was 26-years-old.
This one hits home, as Mac’s wide appeal helped kids and adults alike battle through life’s trying times, as well as suggesting how to enjoy the good ones as well through his vicarious narratives. This emotional duality, coupled with his superior production and rapping skills, textured his work in a very unique way. With each album release, Mac had a distinct, innate ability to capture emotional mindsets so beautifully and eloquently, that we often felt his pain when he bared his soul, we celebrated his victories when he was smiling from cheek-to-cheek. Mac never fell on deaf ears.
Mac will be sorely missed. His music will live on forever. RIP to a great one; rest easy, Mac.
