Yesterday (August 23rd), Lil Yachty celebrated his 23rd birthday. Given that Yachty has been populating hip-hop headlines and conversations since 2016, it’s a little hard to believe that the enigmatic Atlanta artist is still in his early 20s. Through a combination of a unique style and a rabid fanbase, Lil Boat has managed to become a household name.
Honoring these engaged fans, and instead of asking for presents to commemorate his Jordan year, Lil Yachty flipped the script by gifting his followers with “Birthday Mix 5,” a five-year-running tradition.
