Lil Wayne’s long-awaited Tha Carter V is up in hip-hop’s most rumored albums alongside Dr. Dre’s Detox and André 3000’s solo album. Will we ever hear it? The jury is still out. But while we ponder its existence, Wayne has something to tie his supporters over: Dedication 6.
Announced yesterday via his Instagram with the caption, “It’s time! Sign up for updates and music before drop date! To My fans, I do this for y’all! #D6 MERRY CHRISTMAS,” fans can rejoice knowing that new Weezy is on the horizon with Dedication 6 dropping Christmas Day. While DJ Drama teased the album back in August, it’s comforting that Tunechi has confirmed it himself, and it’s nice to know that we will be receiving bonus holiday presents this year.
Until Tha Carter V comes out of hiding, fans will have to make due with Dedication 6. Check out the cover art below:
