Oh, word?
Lil Uzi Vert’s long-questioned Eternal Atake–the proposed follow-up to his acclaimed 2017 album, Luv Is Rage 2–began permeating hip-hop discussions this past summer when Uzi posted the project’s potential cover art. Well, months have stripped-off the calendar, and with each passing week, the mystery surrounding Eternal Atake’s release has proportionately grown with fans’ brooding hearts.
However, at one of Uzi’s shows this past Saturday, December 8th, in his hometown of Philly, he delivered elating news to his ravenous fanbase: “I know y’all wondering when I’m gonna drop my album … I’m finally done with that joint.” Unsurprisingly, the news was met with raucous cheers that echoed through Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center.
Shared via Karen Civil’s twitter, the news has shook the twittersphere, hopefully forcing Uzi to make good on his promise of delivering this album in a timely manner.
