Coming soon.
This past September marked the 12-year-anniversary of Jeezy’s seminal album, The Recession. Furnished with a collection of marquee features, including Kanye West and Nas, Jeezy’s third studio album continued pushing the narrative that he was, and is, an unadulterated force.
Since then, the Atlanta-raised artist has gone on to add to that decorated discography, supplement his entertainment portfolio, and continue growing artistically. While hip-hop might traditionally be a young man’s game, Jeezy has proven that as one’s mind sharpes and matures, so does their craft. Now, Jeezy is readying the official successor to his lauded The Recession album, and has officially announced its release date.
Announced with an album trailer earlier today via his Twitter, The Recession 2 will hit streaming services next Friday, November 20th.
