On top of penning his autobiography, getting married to longtime girlfriend, Keyshia Ka’oir, Gucci Mane also recently released another studio album, Mr. Davis. Aside from the conventional Gucci lyrics, this album also stands out because of its features. From Chris Brown to Migos, all the stars came out for this project, including in-demand crooner, The Weekend, on “Curve”. Today, the two dropped off the song’s trippy music video.
Shooting the black and white video with a tilted camera angle, the “Curve” video is recorded in what resembles a dystopia: the two command a desolate alley riddled with abyss-like potholes and accented by overcast. The trippiness not only derives from the off-centered camera angle and ominous environment, but also from multiples of The Weekend and Gucci appearing on screen, ostensibly providing backup vocals for themselves.
