The EASTMIX onslaught continues.

Dave East has blanketed 2017 with his harrowing street tale raps, impressive collaborations, including tracks with Wiz Khalifa and Lil Uzi Vert, and penchant for creating hits. Today, he supplements this 2017 domination by paying homage to fellow New York legends through remixing “Soul Food” off of Jadakiss and Fabolous’ recently dropped Friday on Elm Street tape.

There isn’t a production style that East can’t body. Whether it be trap, a jazzy Harry Fraud instrumental, or a classic, gritty New York beat, no instrumental is safe from East’s mesmerizing rhyme scheme and flow. Dave uses the C-Sick “Soul Food” production to structure his rhymes about growing up in New York, observing his current surroundings, and the joy of fatherhood.
