The long-anticipated album drops this Friday, May 24th.
The long-fabled Beast Coast album received a much-needed injection of reality when Joey Bada$$ recently tweeted about its completion. The welding of New York powerhouse crews — Pro Era, The Underachievers, and Flatbush Zombies — the Beast Coast movement is officially upon us. Today, this supergroup takes another step towards their fateful album unveiling with their new single, “Snow In The Stadium.”
Produced by Flatbush Zombies’ Erick The Architect, “Snow In The Stadium” serves as a microcosm for the trio’s alternative flair, as it sounds nothing like what’s coming out today — in the best way possible.
A refreshing musical dose to break the clutter of 808s and hi-hats that controls modern mainstream, Erick’s beat finds comfort in percussion-dominated reggae vibes, providing an idiosyncratic instrumental fit for visionary artists like the Beast Coast members. With the fusing of their distinct voices and lucid messages into the wavy production, “Snow In The Stadium” continues the Beast Coast album momentum that began snowballing when they appeared at festivals together circa 2013.
“Snow In The Stadium” joins previously-released Beast Coast singles, “Coast/Clear” and “Left Hand.”
The ensemble project will be available this Friday, May 24th.
