According to reports, Wafeeq Sabir El-Amin, an aspiring rapper from Virginia, believed he had to sacrifice a friend to join the Illuminati so he attempted to shoot one of his friends in the head.

On December 26th, El Amin’s friend awoke to hear the phrase, “you are my sacrifice,” being uttered by his apparently great friend, El Amin. The friend was then hit with a bullet that ricocheted off of his hand and sent bone fragments into his eye. He then wrestled the gun away from El-Amin, shot him in the stomach, and left. El-Amin was arrested, charged with malicious wounding, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, possession of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, and there’s no word yet on whether or not he got into the Illuminati.

Allegedly, El-Amin doesn’t remember the incident.

What’s unclear about the story is the question of what did El-Amin think was going to happen next. If you google “Illuminati blood sacrifice” you see tons of examples of stars and their alleged blood sacrifice. Jay-Z had his nephew, Diddy had Biggie, Kanye had his mom, but the deaths of people close to the stars and the star’s entrée into a secret satanist cult that controls the world is foggy at best.

If the reports are correct, El-Amin clearly thought that once he killed his friend he would get gain entrance to the exclusive group, but what what were the specifics of where he thought his journey was going to lead him following that night? Did he imagine getting a letter in the mail informing him of his status like a college acceptance letter. Like, congratulations we’ve had our eye on you for a while, we think your verses are sick, and now that you’ve killed your friend the Illuminati would be delighted to welcome you to their illustrious ranks. What did he think would happen? Is it possible that he researched the topic?

The trouble with researching a secret society is that it is secret. It’s really hard to lock down specific clear cut examples of definitive information regarding the Illuminati. Here’ a little bit of the “information” that I was able to pick up:

Jay-Z, Beyoncé, and Rihanna are definitely in the Illuminati and they love to flash Illuminati gang signs in public as much as possible.
The British Royal Family is also in the Illuminati and they’re in because of blood lines or something.
The Illuminati has something to do with Satanism, but the group’s headquarters might be The Vatican.
The Illuminati want to create a New World Order government to control the world.
Rappers love to talk about the Illuminati.

My point is that I’m sober, have access to high speed internet, and I can’t figure out how to get into the Illuminati. I even found a website that details 18 ways to get into the Illuminati and I’m still a little confused. I’m surprised that El-Amin was such a proactive go-getter that he decided to murder now and worry about induction later. The least he could’ve done was make the ‘I’ll Be Missing You’ style track first so it’d be ready to roll out in time for the trial.

Allegedly, El-Amin was so high that he doesn’t remember anything from the night, so it’ll be really hard to dissect his thought process, but hopefully we can expect a Shine-like mixtape from jail.
