August belonged to the A$AP MOB. Branded as “Awgest”, this month featured releases from Twelvyy, the second Cozy Tapes collaboration, and Ferg’s project, Still Striving. Filled with hits and A-list features—like Famous Dex, Dave East, Meek Mill—the was a strong addition to the “Traplord’s” library. Today, he gave one of his standout tracks, “Plain Jane”, the visual treatment.
Shot in his hometown New York, the “Plain Jane” video intentionally has an amateur feel to cloak it in a sense of realism. Montages of kids riding bikes and Ferg and co. posted on the corner populate the majority of the visual, but it also provides some added value to the original song: an extra Juicy J verse.
