As hip-hop continues trending more towards a stylistically-fluid direction, there still remains the select resolute intent on propagating its core roots: lyricism. While they might be few and far between, the chosen lyrical leaders are bright spots in today’s game. Two of those intrepid traditionalists — who still manage to appeal commercially next to their sonically progressive peers — are Conway and Freddie Gibbs. Today, they’ve joined powers on the former’s incredible new track, “Seen Everything But Jesus.”
