Calboy and Lil Tjay hail from different regions — the former from Chicago; the latter New York — but they’ve both emerged as preeminent artists of their generation. Propagating hip-hop’s more stylistically-progressive direction, both employ hybrid rapping-singing styles that pair perfectly with auto-tune and trap instrumentals.
