The posthumous Come Over When You’re Sober, Pt. 2 drops November 9th.
It’s been almost exactly one-year since the tragic passing of the intrepid hybrid artist, Lil Peep. Taken by an accidental overdose due to unknown fentanyl consumption, masked by his Xanax habit, Peep was never one to quash his emotions in favor of public acceptance; ironically, it was his vulnerability surrounding his depression and suicidal thoughts that made him such a relatable figure for those struggling with similar issues.

On November 15th, 2017, we lost that identifiable figure; that man–in a similar vein as his fellow fallen soldier, Xxxtenatcion–who helped countless individuals cope with their depression. However, as is so beautiful with the gift of music, Peep’s voice lives on through his tortured art, through his honest lyrics.

On Friday, November 9th, we will receive the posthumous follow-up to his debut album, Come Over When You’re Sober, Pt. 2. With a few singles already having surfaced, like “Cry Alone” and “Runaway”, Peep’s official sophomore release is shaping up to continue the strong tradition that he left behind. Today, we’ve received the last single prior to tomorrow’s album release, the ironically titled, “Life is Beautiful”.
