After months of teasing, months of waiting, and months of questioning its existence, we finally have a concrete update behind one of the most anticipated hip-hop projects in recent memory: the collaborative album between Quavo and Travis Scott. Two of today’s brightest stars starting discussing the possibility months back—including dropping teaser videos—but as fans, it was difficult to get too excited for fear of being let down. With some encouraging news announced by Quavo, it looks like this project is happening after all.
Quavo took to twitter today to delight fans with an update: “All Files shipped off for Mixing”. We’ve already been anticipating a full-blown Migos season with the forthcoming Culture 2 drop, expecting an early 2018 release, but this would make for one of the strongest musical starts in hip-hop history. Yes, hip-hop history.
