Tragic news has befallen the music industry: 21-year-old Long Island musician, Lil Peep, has sadly passed away from a drug overdose. Allegedly, he was on his tour bus ahead of his Tuscon, AZ show when he ingested “fake” Xanax, which was laced with Fentanyl.
Like him or hate him, his talent was undeniable and he fearlessly crusaded into the musical unknown by forging diverging genres to create his alternative aesthetic. He will be missed by his fans and peers alike; artists have already taken to social media to express their disbelief and grief, including: Post Malone, Lil Yachty, Rif Raff, Lil Pump, and others.
A talent taken way too young, Lil Peep will now live on through his art.
