Congrats to Logic.

Logic is a fascinating individual whose music reflects his cerebral thought process. Built with the cornerstone of integrity, the DMV artist seems to never compromise his vision or music for trendy market satiation. It looks like honoring his musical ideology is paying dividends, as his 2017 album, Everybody, has just gone gold.

An album reaching this level (500,000-units sold) in today’s music landscape is markedly more challenging than the pre-streaming era. Sure, a song’s individual ability to reach a comparable milestone might be easier, given that every user stream contributes to the artist’s bottomline, but fans will mostly approach an album like a vulture—picking and plucking their favorite tracks. So for an entire album to reach the RIAA-certified gold level truly is a testament to an artist’s coherent vision and its resonation with their fanbase.

Everybody is an 11-track project that surveys a variety of issues—including racial opinions and dealing with suicide—from Logic’s interest vantage point, and sci-fi infatuation. Standout tracks include: “Everybody”, “1-800-273-8255”, and “Black SpiderMan”.

Congrats are certainly in order for Logic. Stream Everybody below:
