Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon drops July 3rd.
The late Pop Smoke’s inaugural posthumous album, Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon, is due out next Friday (July 3rd). Given the impact of the Brooklyn Drill leader — coupled with his tragic, untimely murder — this upcoming LP is one of the year’s most hyped releases. In case there was ever any confusion over how influential Pop was, and is, or how much respect he garnered throughout his stunted career, 50 Cent took it upon himself to executively produce the album. Now, with about 10-days left until its drop, more gasoline has been thrown on these anticipatory flames.
Yesterday, 50 Cent posted a photo to his Instagram of him and Roddy Ricch on-set for a video shoot for one of the album’s tracks. Fif captioned his picture with, “Pop Smoke 50cent & @roddyricch this shit is outta of here She want to Fuck wit the 💫Woo.”
While the Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon is unconfirmed, it’s not clear that Roddy will occupy part of this highly-prized real estate.
