As we officially embark into May and leave our heavy coats behind in the wake of winter’s demise, it’s time to enjoy the nice weather by getting those summer playlists right. To properly prepare for summer’s impending arrival, get hip by checking out today’s edition of “New Music Friday,” featuring PnB Rock, YG, and Styles P.
PnB returns today with his second official studio album, Trapstar Turnt Popstar — the successor to his 2017 album, Catch These Vibes. Joining PnB on his sophomore expedition are a collection of great guests, like: Lil Durk, Tee Grizzley, Diplo, Lil Skies, the late XXXtentacion on “MIDDLE CHILD,” and plenty more. The album is separated into a two-disc offering.
While YG is supposed to be dropping 4REAL 4REAL today — which was originally supposed to drop in April, but was pushed back to honor the late Nipsey Hussle — it doesn’t seem to be available just yet. However, the Blood MC came through with a new single, “Go Loko,” to hold fans over until the official album release.
Last but not least, the OG himself, Styles P, is back with his latest project, S.P. The GOAT: Ghost Of All Time. Home to 12-tracks, spanning 41-minutes, the newest Styles proves that he hasn’t lost a lyrical step, and, like a fine wine, just gets better with age.
