Featuring The Game, Fabolous, Griselda, Blac Youngsta, and more.
The Thanksgiving turkey has been dolled out, and guts are full. And what better way to celebrate gluttony than to indulge on new music. For today’s “New Music Friday,” a diverse pallet of artists have come through to add to the holiday cheer.
Kicking things off is the West Coast legend, The Game. Closing in on 40-years-old, Game’s illustrious run begun in 2005 with his iconic The Documentary debut, and is coming to a close today, supposedly, with his final album, Born 2 Rap, released on his new label, Prolific Records.
For his final album, it’s fitting that Game would like to take advantage of the opportunity by releasing as much content as he can. On Born 2 Rap, he delivers a loaded album, clocking in at 90-minutes, over 25-tracks, featuring Ed Sheeran, Anderson .Paak for the album single, “Stainless,” Chris Brown, Trey Songz, 21 Savage, Bryson Tiller, Dom Kennedy, and the late legend and Game’s dear friend, Nipsey Hussle.
Born 2 Rap marks the end of an era — one highlighted by iconic feuds, memorable records, and one of the game’s (yes, pun intended) most authentic MCs.
Celebrate the end of incredible career by bumping Born 2 Rap this weekend.
And while today’s “New Music Friday” would be sufficient enough with just a Game album, we’ve got plenty more to enjoy.
Joining Jayceon are Fabolous with Summertime Shootout 3: Coldest Summer Ever, Blac Youngsta on Church On Sunday, Griselda with WWCD, and a remix to Curren$y’s summer project, Hot August Nights Forever.
